Every year, during the PBIS conference, we come together at the Three Sisters Public House for a Networking Reception like no other. This year, we’ve added a special twist – an evening of karaoke by the talented Floyd Edison!
But there’s more to this event than just fun and entertainment. It’s also about making a difference in our community. That’s why this year’s fundraising efforts will be dedicated to supporting the Community Connections Housing Coalition.
The Community Connections Housing Coalition is excited to be chosen as the Not for Profit organization that will be the recipient of corporate/private donations at the 2023 Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase (PBIS) taking place in Placentia Sept. 20-21. With ongoing economic development the Housing Coalition is working hard to assist residents to secure/ maintain safe affordable housing. Assistance is provided with the completion of applications for various housing programs and services and referrals to community programs. Much advocacy work is carried out as well and work to break down barriers that prevent access to affordable housing options is ongoing.
All donations received go to direct client service needs in the Placentia/ Cape Shore/ Whitbourne area. We are so pleased to have this opportunity!!

Karaoke Fun: Sing your heart out or enjoy the performances by your talented peers. It’s a night to let loose and have a blast!
Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow conference attendees, exchange ideas, and build valuable professional relationships.
Supporting a Worthy Cause: Your ticket price and any additional contributions will go directly to the Community Connections Housing Coalition, helping those in need in our community.
